Information we collect

• The name, email address, optional company name and message you choose to submit in the enquiry form.
• A protected technical reference derived from your enquiry details to recognise duplicate submissions.
• A short-lived, protected identifier derived from the connection address to limit spam and repeated form attempts. The raw connection address is not stored in the enquiry record.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to read and respond to your request, discuss a possible project, and take steps you ask us to take before deciding whether to enter a service agreement. We also use limited technical information to prevent spam, protect the form and avoid duplicate submissions.

For a request about a possible service, we rely on the steps needed to respond to your request before a contract. Where someone contacts us on behalf of an organisation, we may rely on our legitimate interests in handling and replying to business enquiries. We do not use enquiry details for marketing.

How information is stored and shared

Your enquiry is stored in a private database and is not published on the website. If email notifications are enabled, the enquiry is also sent to the business inbox through an email-delivery service.

Access is limited to people handling the enquiry and service providers that support website hosting, database storage and, when enabled, email delivery. Those providers are used to operate the site and handle enquiries; we do not sell enquiry information or share it for advertising.

Service providers may process information in countries outside the UK. Before the live site launches, we will confirm the actual processing locations and put any legally required transfer safeguards in place.

How long we keep it

We retain enquiry records for up to 12 months from the date they are submitted. After that, we manually review and delete them. The protected spam-prevention identifier uses 15-minute windows; expired entries are removed during the next form cleanup check.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us to ask for a copy of your personal information, to correct it, or to request that it be erased or its use restricted. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have the right to object to processing or request a portable copy. We will respond in line with applicable data-protection law.

Security and changes

We use access controls and technical safeguards intended to protect enquiry information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this notice when our services or data practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
